SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY CASES
From the initial application phase of
disability cases, to reconsideration, and a hearing before an
Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) we assist individuals living in the
expanded Chicago Metropolitan area including Cook, Lake, McHenry,
DuPage, Will, and Kankakee counties in Illinois. We will also
assist anyone who has a hearing pending with or assigned to the
Rockford Hearing Office (Office of Adjudication and Review). These
cases are maintained in the Evanston hearing office, where we are
located.
On appeal to the Appeals Council, Federal
District Court, or possibly even to the Seventh Circuit Court of
Appeals, we will assist people residing within the Seventh Circuit,
which includes all of Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
We offer free consultations for all Social
Security disability claims, other than overpayment claims. For most
disability claims we only charge a fee if we are successful in
obtaining benefits for the client.
Please give us a call at 847-864-0224 or
312-368-0088 to set up an appointment. If you live far from either
our Evanston main office, or our Chicago interview space, or if you
are unable to leave your home or to travel far, we can set up a
telephone consultation for you.

OVERPAYMENT CASES
If you have been overpaid by the Social
Security Administration and believe the overpayment itself, or the
amount of the overpayment is in error, or you are seeking to have
the Administration waive the requirement that you repay the
overpayment, we might be able to assist you. Unless you are also
seeking to have disability benefits reinstated, we charge on an
hourly basis for these cases. However, we have been successful in
helping many claimants reduce the amount of their overpayments.
Give us a call if you wish to discuss an
overpayment claim with us.

LONG TERM
DISABILITY CLAIMS
Our firm also has experience in representing
people with claims for LONG TERM DISABILITY benefits from their
employer, both at the initial levels, on appeal to the insurance
company, and at times to federal district court. The laws governing
these claims are different than for Social Security disability
claims, but the experience in analyzing medical evidence, obtaining
medical information, and analyzing the way the disability decision
was made by the insurance company is the same. We often represent
people with Long term disability claims on a contingent fee basis,
or we could work on an hourly basis if the
client prefers.
