Mr. Schiff has been an associate with the firm since June of 2010. He represents  adults and children in disability insurance benefits and supplemental security income (SSI) cases from the initial level up through the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. At the Seventh Circuit, he argued and won the case of Bjornson v. Astrue, 671 F.3d 640 (7th CIr. 2012). Mr. Schiff also wrote briefs for two other successful Seventh Circuit appeals, Scott v. Astrue, 647 F.3d 734 (7th CIr. 2011) and Chase v. Astrue, 458 Fed. App'x. 553 (7th Cir. 2012). Outside of work, Mr. Schiff is involved with the Lesbian and Gay Bar Association of Chicago (LAGBAC) as an attorney mentor to law students, and coaches the Chicago Bar Association moot court team at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.  Prior to working at the Law Offices of Barry Schultz, Mr. Schiff worked as an attorney with the employment & labor law section of the US Postal Service. During law school, he worked as a summer associate at Clark Hill, PLC in Detroit, Michigan, and as an intern in the labor department of the City of Chicago Department of Law.
